fivewyze builds its own products, and takes on client work alongside them.

Right now that means Riposte, a workstation for making music and video with AI in the loop, and JiJinia Tactics, a free-position tactical RPG where every battle runs on musical time. Before those came a parcel scouting platform, a data quality framework for a Snowflake warehouse, and a full scheduled broadcast system.

We run deliberately small. The person you talk to is the person who builds the thing, and we turn down work we are not right for rather than staffing it out.

It also means we lean hard on modern tooling. AI is in the pipeline from design through to deployment, which is how an operation this size ships at the scope it does. Judgment, architecture and accountability stay with us.

HOW WE WORK

Own your stack

Every project ships on infrastructure and accounts the client owns, with the source in their hands. We are not interested in building dependencies on us.

Ship, then refine

Working software beats a longer specification. We would rather put something real in front of you in week one and be wrong early than be theoretical for a month.

Say the honest thing

If a project is a bad idea, out of our depth, or cheaper to solve with something off the shelf, we will say so before you spend money on it.

THE NAME

Wise was once a noun. In Old English a wise was a way — a manner of doing something. It survives in likewise, otherwise and clockwise, and in the old phrase in no wise. Middle English wrote it wyse; later English also wrote it wize. The German cousin, Weise, still means both a way of doing and a tune.

Five ways of making. That is the whole of the name.

We build the tools we need and then keep building on them. Riposte exists because making music and video with AI needed a real workstation rather than a folder of prompts. That is generally how the work goes here.
